November 2008 Classes

Machine quilting for beginners or intermediates. Projects are of your choosing. $10 per class plus supplies. Evenings - Mondays, 7-9pm or Afternoons - Wednesdays, noon until 2:30pm.

Basic Sewing Class - Learn the basics of your sewing machine by doing very simple projects such as a pillow covering or pyjama pants. Thursdays, 7-9pm. $10 per class plus supplies

Free Motion Quilting - Learn how to set up and use your sewing machine for free motion quilting and stippling. Wednesday, November 26, 7-8pm. $10 plus supplies.

Owner's Class - Free class for those who have purchased a sewing machine from us. Wednesday, November 19, 6:30-9pm.

Embroidery Class - This month's project will be a cutwork Christmas table runner and napkins. $10 plus supplies. Includes pattern and embroidery design files. For all brands of embroidery machines. Friday, November 14, 6:30-9pm or Tuesday, November 18, 1-4pm

Friday Night Sewfest - sew all night, from 6:30 until midnight. Start a new project, finish an old one, or work on some Christmas sewing. $15 for the evening. Friday, November 28, 6:30-midnight.

Bali Pop or Jelly Roll bags - Thursday, November 13, 10am-4pm or Saturday, November 22, 10am - 4pm. $15 plus supplies. Did you know you can make 4 completely different bags and purses from forty 2 ½" strips? Join us in this class with Gerri Richards, where she will be teaching her latest bag pattern.
